KUALA LUMPUR: WTC Automotif (M) Sdn Bhd (WTCA), a subsidiary of Warisan TC Holdings Bhd, has officially launched the GAC and AION Glenmarie 3S Flagship showroom operated by WariTan Automobile Sdn Bhd earlier today.

GAC Glenmarie is strategically located at the automotive industrial hub in Glenmarie, which will house both the GAC Motor and AION brands under one roof. This 3S Centre is the largest GAC center in Malaysia to-date, and features distinctive branding identity elements to showcase future mobility solutions envisioned by the Brand Slogan “Where Craft Meets Technology”. The opening of GAC Glenmarie has further strengthened the network coverage of GAC and AION, and enables the strong aftersales support to the growing numbers of GAC and AION vehicle owners.

The GAC Motor Glenmarie showroom is 456 sqm, featuring three GAC vehicles on display, and GAC’s latest brand standards. The AION showroom is 644 sqm, and includes a customer lounge area with a 6 vehicle display space. Both showrooms are operating 7 days a week (Mondays – Fridays: 9:00am to 7:00pm, Saturdays: 9:00am – 6:00pm, Sundays and Public Holidays: 9:00am – 5:00pm).

The GAC Motor and AION service center at Glenmarie spans 10,878 sqm and is equipped with 10 work bays, staffed by 7 fully certified technicians, service consultants, and a dedicated support team to provide comprehensive aftersales support for customers. Operating from Mondays – Saturdays, 8:30am – 5:00pm, it is equipped with a premier lounge complete with reserved work stations and plug points for customers who need to work while waiting for their vehicles to be serviced. In addition, dedicated kids playroom and refreshment will be served at the coffee corner. To complete the whole journey, customers can purchase the GAC and AION merchandise by visiting the merchandise corner.


Join Us for a Festive Deepavali Celebration and Showroom Experience

The GAC and AION Glenmarie showroom will be hosting a Deepavali celebration and Showroom Launch event, where visitors can test drive the latest GAC and AION vehicles and experience exciting features firsthand, such as the GAC Smart Watch demonstration, the GAC GS3 EMZOOM Fusion Automatic Parking Assist, the AION Y Plus in-cabin theater system, and more.

Additionally, customers will be able to check out the latest GAC GS3 EMZOOM Standard variant, on top of the existing Exclusive and Premium R variants available. A special display of the all-electric AION Hyptec HT will make a special appearance during the showroom event. This sleek 5-seater SUV is distinguished by its striking ‘falcon’ rear doors, and is estimated to offer a driving range of between 550 km to 600 km (depending on battery sizes selected).

Attendees will also receive exclusive test drive gifts, including GAC and AION merchandise, freebies when they book a GAC or AION vehicle, kids’ activities, and light refreshments. The event will take place on 26–27 October (Sat – Sun) from 10 am to 5 pm at GAC Motor Glenmarie (Waze: GAC Motor Glenmarie) and AION Glenmarie (Waze: AION Glenmarie).

New Standard Variant Expands Lineup, Offering Three Exciting Options for Consumers

WTCA has just announced that prices for the 2024 GAC GS3 EMZOOM CKD now start at RM103,800 for the GS3 EMZOOM Standard. The GS3 EMZOOM Exclusive retails for RM116,800 while the range-topping GS3 EMZOOM Premium R continues to be available at a competitive price of RM126,800. All prices are on-the-road without insurance, applicable to West Malaysia only.

The updated 2024 GAC GS3 EMZOOM line-up offers a competitive range of features across the board, with all three variants powered by GAC’s 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine that develops a maximum of 177PS at 5,500rpm and best-in-class 270Nm of torque, available from 1,400rpm to 4,500rpm. This output is delivered to the front wheels via a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (7WDCT), enabling a swift 0-100km/h acceleration time of 8.0 seconds. The performance is matched by fuel economy that meets Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV) standards with an average consumption of only 5.9 liters per 100km.

All GAC GS3 EMZOOM models feature the same bold exterior defined by the Mecha Wing grille, Laser Eye Split LED headlights and electric hidden door handles that lend a futuristic and aerodynamic aesthetic to the side profile. The dynamic front end is matched in the rear by Light Dart tail lights and a sporty Rear Spoiler while 18-inch alloy wheels complete the look across all three variants. Visually, the GS3 Premium R differentiates itself from the Standard and Exclusive variants with its R-Style Sport Package and R-Style Exhaust.

The contemporary blue-and-black interior colour scheme is applied to the cabin of all variants, which offer segment-leading space and comfort thanks to the GS3 EMZOOM’s longest-in-class 2,650-mm wheelbase. All variants are equipped with GAC’s signature crystal electronic gear shift and multifunction steering wheel with four-way tilt and telescopic adjustment.

On the technology front, advanced features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android phone mirroring, electronic parking brake with auto hold and Blind Spot Vision (BSV) are standard throughout the range. Exclusive to the GS3 EMZOOM Premium R is the added luxury of automatic headlight, High Beam Assist, Fusion Automatic Parking Assist, six-way power adjustment for the driver seat, multi-colour ambient lighting, wireless smartphone charger, hands-free power tailgate and a panoramic sunroof.

In terms of colour availability, the GAC GS3 EMZOOM Standard is offered in Frost White and Asphalt Black options. The GAC GS3 EMZOOM Exclusive offers two additional choices, namely Salt Lake Blue and Superstar Silver. All of these colours are available for the GS3 EMZOOM Premium R, which features an exclusive Graphite Grey colour, in addition to the sporty orange exterior trim which is limited to this range-topping variant. Asphalt Black and Graphite Grey are exclusive to the locally-assembled GAC GS3 EMZOOM — these colours are currently not offered anywhere else outside the Malaysian market.

All variants in the updated 2024 GAC GS3 EMZOOM line-up offer maximum peace of mind with a five-year, 150,000-km warranty. Additionally, the first 2,000 customers can enjoy the extra protection of a seven-year, 180,000-km engine and transmission warranty, subject to official terms and conditions.
